📘 Important Usage Notice
- To ensure the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of the battery, please read and follow the charging, discharging, and storage instructions below carefully. Improper handling may lead to reduced battery efficiency, malfunction, or serious safety risks such as overheating or leakage.
🔋 Charging Instructions
-
Charging Current:
Please ensure the charging current does not exceed the specified maximum (1–10A). Using a current higher than the recommended range may affect the cell’s charge/discharge performance, mechanical integrity, and safety, and could lead to overheating, leakage, or swelling.
-
Charging Voltage:
The charging voltage must not exceed the rated limit of 4.2V per cell, with 4.25V being the absolute maximum. The charger must be designed to meet this requirement. Overcharging beyond the rated voltage may damage the cell’s performance and safety, potentially causing overheating, leakage, or swelling.
-
Charging Temperature:
Batteries should be charged in environments with temperatures between 0°C and 40°C. The recommended charging temperature is 23 ± 2°C for optimal performance.
-
Do Not Reverse Charge:
Ensure correct polarity when connecting the battery. Reverse charging is strictly prohibited. Incorrect polarity may prevent charging and significantly reduce the battery’s performance and safety, possibly resulting in overheating, leakage, or swelling.
âš¡ Discharge Guidelines
- Do not exceed the maximum rated discharge current. Excessive current may cause overheating and permanent capacity loss.
-
Recommended discharge temperature range: −10°C to 40°C.
Optimal discharge temperature: 23 ± 2°C.
- After long-term storage, batteries may enter an over-discharge state due to self-discharge. Recharge to restore voltage to 3.6–3.9V before further use.
- If the cell voltage is below 3.0V, do not fast charge immediately. Begin with a pre-charge at 0.01C for 15–30 minutes, then proceed with standard charging.
- Use smart chargers with pre-charge, low-voltage detection, and overcharge protection features.
📦 Storage Recommendations
- Store batteries in a temperature range of −20°C to 40°C. For long-term storage (over 3 months), keep at 23 ± 5°C with relative humidity of 65 ± 20% RH.
-
Recommended storage voltage: 3.6V to 3.9V per cell.
- Avoid physical damage to the aluminum casing. Keep away from sharp objects and mechanical impact.
- Use protective gloves when handling stored batteries.
- Store in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from conductive materials or metal objects.
