How to correctly select a suitable lithium battery?

Before Placing an Order

1. Confirm the voltage and current specifications of the battery you need.

2. Check the battery dimensions.

3. Verify the plug type; incompatible terminals cannot be used interchangeably. For custom plug, please contact us: sales@urbattery.com.

Before Use

1. Correct polarity is essential (red = positive [+], black = negative [–]). Do not reverse or mix different batteries.

2. Use a compatible charger only. Charge in a dry, cool place. Avoid overcharging or overheating.

3. Environmental limits: Do not use in temperatures above 45°C or below 0°C, or in humid/dusty areas.

4. Do not overload: Devices must not exceed the battery’s maximum discharge current.

Battery Maintenance

1. If unused for long periods, fully charge and discharge every 1–2 months.

2. Before storage, charge to 40%–60%, store in a dry, cool place away from metal to prevent short circuits.

3. Regularly inspect the battery. Stop using it immediately if swollen, leaking, or otherwise damaged.

Warnings

1. Do not pierce, bend, crush, drop, short-circuit, or reverse polarity at any time.

2. Do not discharge near flammable or explosive items (e.g., sofas, bedding, lighters, hot surfaces, cars under sun exposure).

3. Never disassemble, burn, immerse the battery in liquids (e.g., water, drinks).
   Do not replace the protection circuit or use damaged batteries (e.g., leaking, punctured, deformed).
